Protect the environment
Each of our processes in the plantation are designed to protect the environment from harm besides putting the protection and wellbeing of the workers first.
Crop care
To better protect the Ipecacuana crop we are using a saran covering for the duration of the crop growth.
Drying
We dry our harvested roots completely in the sun using several days in the process. Turning and tossing them to achieve a uniform drying.
Carapichea ipecacuanha, Cephaelis ipecacuanha, Psicotrina ipecacuanha or Uragoga ipecacuanha, lesser ringed ipecacuanha or Brazilian ipecacuanha is a rhizomatous herbaceous or subshrub species that can reach 0.5 meters in height and branches into slightly pubescent to glabrous axes.
